Manuel Doblado Theater celebrates its 145th anniversary with a thoughtful play "Toto & Pez"
León, Gto.- In the framework of the 145th anniversary of the emblematic Manuel Doblado Theater , "Toto & Pez" was presented, a production that celebrates friendship and the freedom to choose which path to follow.
Written and directed by Luis Eduardo Yee , “Toto & Pez” is a family-friendly play that seeks to inspire reflection and motivational messages for the audience through a fun and moving story.
With striking, eccentric costumes adorned with peculiar colors, the company "La Máquina del Tiempo y los Bocanegra" presents a story of love, family and friendship, but above all, a story that invites us to conceive of self-love.

Under the motto, “The courage to dare to be yourself,” the play “Toto & Pez” tells the story of “Toto,” a bird who dreams of words and poems, which causes him to be judged by his flock, who have come to consider him weak, for wasting his time on things that are not for birds.
With a captivating message, viewers warmly embraced the play's moral, where the most important thing is personal essence and resistance to what society dictates: how to be, believe, and think; culminating in an understanding of what happens when the necessary decisions are finally made.
"Toto & Pez" is produced by Paola M. Salguero, Rebeca Trejo , and Edgar León. The story stars Assira Abbate as Toto; Paula Watson as Pez; Rebeca Trejo as Rita; Hamlet Ramírez as José ; and Diana Sedano as Mac.
